A few things to improve -
1. The sniper scene needed a LOT more to warrant the amount of time it got. You should have animated the scope by hand to make it seem more like a scope, things should have been going on while he was scoped in (like an explosion and some fighting and he should have been moving the scope around really fast and getting it just in the right place when an explosion knocks it off) and you needed to actually show the kill (and it should have been quite gruesome - like the sniper has to shoot twice because he hits the guy in the leg the first time). Or at least do something interesting following the bullet.
2. Correct a spelling error - it should be "100,000 LIVES" not 100,000 lifes.
3. Make the music last until the end.
4. Don't have characters talking that you can't hear when you CAN hear explosions, unless you have a really high pitched tone.
5. I want to see a slow motion bullet.
6. Explosions add spice too.

It took me 3 tries to win, and 4 to get the maximum weapon upgrade. Maybe you could incorporate an "elite" or "pro" setting, which makes the boss like 10 times tougher or it's damage to pico greater. Just so that people who have played it a few times and have completed it have something more challenging to keep their interest.
Awesome game overall.
(also, was the max weapon upgrade L and S, as I got them quite early but didn't get any higher weapon upgrades when I would normally do)

you shouldn't have put this on NG. It holds no entertainment value. It's just a test. It could've done with sound, as well as a better blast effect. You really need to work on your gradient use as well - I mean grey to yellow? The only way you could get grey to yellow is if you had white in between... maybe try that. But don't submit it here.

The fact that you decided to make the girl spirit thing be naked. If you are going to go down that route, at least be consistant. Why didn't all of the bad spirits spawn nude as well? Yes I do realise that that would be a bit weird... penises and all that, but I think that the only reason she came back naked was the fact that she was a girl. If she had been a he, he would've had clothes, I almost guarantee it. For that I dock you one point (not that it will make much difference).

I still gave it 5/5 and 10/10. I can appreciate the cleverness of the symbolism and story writing as well as the fantastic animation and musical quality. The timing was perfect.
Not that I agree with the message, or the religion behind it, but true art always shines through.

I can't help but feel that you missed an oppurtunity with the end - you should've been able to shift just before the platform goes down and so be able to make it.
